"The Kittens' Recital" is by Austrian painter Carl Reichert (1836-1918). This wonderful vintage cat painting features five kittens giving a "recital." Two adorable kitty cats are at the keyboard, one or more kittens are singing, and two of them appear to be holding the musical score in place. The original painting is an oil on panel.

I recently ordered this mug and use it constantly when I am on the go. I would suggest going with a white mug as opposed to the stainless steel finish since the graphics show up much better on the white surface. These mugs make a great holiday and birthday gift for the person who has everything! The graphics came out sharp and with good colors.
