Beautiful image from an antique engraving. Cupid or Amor, a little cherub whose heart has been pierced by an arrow, pursues his love ardently - but she flees his advances demurely. In his hands, Cupid carries the clasped hands of fidelity - the fede symbol - a sign of his commitment. The background is made up of the accompanying texts from the book "Emblemata" which was a collection of sayings and wisdoms published in the 16th and 17th Century. Texts in old French, Italian and Latin.

I was happy with everything except the packaging. The cards and envelopes were not protected very well. The envelopes were creased and the edges on both were frayed. . The printing matched what I saw on the computer screen
