This shirt features a vintage magazine cover from the German fantasy magazine Der Orchideengarten. A great gothic or Halloween themed design. From Wikipedia: Der Orchideengarten ('Garden of Orchids'; subtitled Phantastische Blatter or 'Fantastic Pages') was a Munich, German magazine that appeared for 51 issues from January, 1919 until November, 1921. Founded four years before the American magazine Weird Tales was launched in March 1923, it is hailed as the first fantasy magazine. Also described as largely 'supernatural horror', it was edited by World War I correspondent and freelance writer Karl Hans Strobl and Alfons von Czibulka, published by Drerlanderverlag. It had 24 pages per issue printed on rough book paper.

This very early German pulp magazine cover is among the vast and amazing collection of vintage covers offered on Zazzle T-Shirts. The image must have been taken from a very Fine original and it's apparent that great care was taken in the preparation of this image. If you want great old pulp covers (and REAL ones to boot) on your shirts Zazzle is the only place to go! Perfect image - very very sharp and the color is quite true! Other firms are just not as good.
