Vintage Glasgow City Subway Poster Jigsaw Puzzle
This vintage poster advertisement is for the city of Glasgow’s subway (or underground) system. Back in the day, it was the world's only cable railway, opening in 1896 to serve central Glasgow, Scotland, and is the 3rd oldest in the world after London and Budapest. The poster boasts it "takes you round the city in half an hour." It was used to advertise the route and the various stations such as St Enoch terminal illustrated in the top corner. An ideal present for a travel enthusiast, Glaswegians or anyone who loves Glasgow and railways.
