A vintage bookplate recommended for a Jane Austen fan, representing an elegant regency lady, that could be one of Jane Austen's characters, sitting in a garden and reading, under a green parasol. The vintage image is inside a green circular frame with the text in beige caps: above it is the message "this book belongs to" and under it is the name.
The elegant Regency lady, is taken from an old, authentic Regency fashion plate from 1813, from "Ackermann's Repository of Arts", a British periodical published from 1809 to 1829.
