Vintage Japanese Bird Painting Lumbar Pillow

I like the image. The size and shape are good. I DO NOT like the fact the manufacturer sewed a tag in the upper left corner of the pillow. It isn't even a care tag, it's just a worthless tag about the manufacturer and materials with writing so small it can't be read without magnification. I'm worried about damaging the pillow trying to remove the tag. Seriously...what idiot did this? The tag could easily have been on the bottom, or even on the inside since this has a zipper. It did NOT need to be on the top of the pillow. So glad I didn't order two as I had originally planned. Overall the printing is OK...a little blurry. The background seems to have a lot of spots which may be part of the original, or might be from bad printing. It's so hard to tell when you're shopping online and can't really get a great close up. The spots are on both sides of the pillow so I'm guessing it is due to the reproduction quality of the original image.

Love toile and toile with little animals? I mean what more can you ask for??!! Got it as a gift for a friend and she loved it! Did not see it but she loved it.

I am the designer and I also ordered this pillow for myself. I love it and I want to order more from the series of Henri Rousseau pillows that are in my shop. It's smaller than I thought it would be but I still love it. I need to get the square size next. The zipper is hidden. Inside the edges are sewn so they won't unravel. It's exceptionally well made and that's rare in today's marketplace. It says something GREAT about products made in the USA. I like that the company is supporting single moms. They're putting their heart and souls into these products. Much gratitude to them for producing quality. It's bright and vibrant. The orange lilies stand out against the darker blues and greens. The back of the pillow with the palm leaves is particularly nice. I need more and I want to order some of the square pillows. These make a room. Love it. It goes well with my orchids.
