Vintage Louis Wain Cats Suppertime Poster

This fun poster print for cat lovers and cat owners features the wonderful, whimsical work of famous English cat artist Louis Wain. Based on his original work titled 'For What We Are about to Receive,' it's my lovingly restored rendition of Wain's cat spoof on the traditional mealtime prayer. There are 10 cat diners sitting around the table, some with their paws clasped in prayer. On the table is a delicious mouse pie with the tails trailing from the crust. There are two bugs on the table and the little kitten on the left can't resist trying to catch one - look how he's clawing the tablecloth in an attempt to bring the bug closer. Another kitten has both paws covering his eyes - not sure if he's praying or crying because he hates mouse pie! Most of the cats are tabbies. Standing out from the crowd are the beautiful long haired white female cat and the handsome ginger tom. Taking center stage is a wonderfully animated tom cat who's smiling delightedly as he leads the mealtime prayer. All of the cats have beautiful, luminous eyes.
