This belt buckle arrives in a black felt bag that is perfect for gifting.

    Note on wearing of buckle: as is seen in the product photos, from the wearer's perspective, with the buckle facing outwards so that onlookers can see the design, the belt loop that attaches to the belt is on the right side of the buckle. This means that in order to keep a design right-side-up, the belt will need to be worn around the waist with the belt threaded starting from the right side of the body, which is typically how women's belts are worn. Men's belts are typically worn threaded around the waist staring on the left-hand side (again from the wearer's perspective, with the buckle facing outwards), so please keep this in mind with designing or purchasing a belt buckle.

Art nouveau Letters - Monograms From the Arts & Crafts Movement This letter R is a lovely rugged monogram R created in 1901, and published in a set of books. The monogram R is surrounded by a wonderful hand-drawn vine pattern, very much in the style of the art nouveau patterns in style at the time, which was characterized by stylized and flowing designs, often with fowing florals. This letter R monogram is also an arts and crafts style- which was very much aligned with the art nouveau period. The Arts and Crafts style was a search for design that was beautiful, and in reaction against machine-production. Thus, the monogram R in our design, an arts and crafts inspired R monogram, is simple, rugged, and a purposeful rough-hewn quality, an almost medieval R quality, as if it were printed with a hand-made woodcut.

I can't say enough about these belt buckles. I have bought two of them now. They are VERY study. I even wear them on a tool belt without the slightest fear of the anchor hook breaking off or coming loose. It's an excellent product… The picture I chose for this particular buckle is of my Grand Niece and is a still frame taken from an iPhone video. The quality of the picture on this buckle is FAR beyond what I had expected… Delivery was fast and customer service is second to none at Zazzle which in this day and age is remarkable and GREATLY appreciated!
