The Buffalo Dance (1860) by Karl Wimar is a vintage American West fine art painting. A Native American Indian tribe dressed like buffaloes. The men are dancing a buffalo dance in their village at night by a blazing fire casting an eerie red glow. About the artist: Karl Ferdinand Wimar (aka Charles or Carl) (1828-1862) was a German-American painter who concentrated on Native Americans in the old Wild West and herds of buffalo.
