Original copy (restored and colors enhanced for this print) of an art nouveau poster (or affiche in French) for Le Carnaval, Jeudi 24 Mars, 1892. (carnival, thursday March 24), announcing le 4e Bal Masqué (4th MasqueradeBall), in le Theatre De l'Opera in Paris.
From a limited édition book of French posters, published in only 1025 numbered copies on wove paper in 1896 by G. Boudet of Paris, and sold exclusively in bookshop Tallandier (same address).
