These are perfect! We had a hard time narrowing down our choice of invitation, but my fiance was drawn to this one. This helped us develop our wedding theme of "relaxed, rustic, old-style hawaiian". We changed the angled wording to a hawaiian phrase about love. We modified the placement & size of text just a little but otherwise kept the same overall look. We ordered the back with a solid color (same color as front border) and imported an old style drawing of a conch shell with the word "Mahalo!" below it (both in dark/black ink). The envelopes are white, yet the background on the invite is off-white; so, we purchased darker colored kraft-paper envelopes from an office supply store that were just a bit lighter in tone to the ink on the invitation. The kraft envelopes complemented the invitations nicely and helped carry through the rustic look (we printed the addresses ourselves using the same fonts as the invitation). We also ordered similar old-style pineapple stamps from Zazzle. The whole look came out perfectly! We ordered the standard matte stock, and it was just right for this invitation design & style. Shipment was fast! Soon, we will be ordering menu cards in the same design. Perfect. I didn't notice any flaws and the color was as expected.

We ordered this invitation first as just a sample because I loved the color combination. We ordered many other samples invitations (thanks to Zazzle Black). But ultimately ended up coming back to this (our first) because is simply was exactly what I was looking for. I actually ended up using the color pallet for our entire wedding! We had an outdoor ceremony and inside reception and these invitations were the perfect introduction for our guests to the type of event we were planning. Not too fancy but also not a casual evening wedding. The colors were vibrant and the paper was just the right amount of weight. We ordered the matching RSVP cards, the mauve envelopes with return address printed on the back, the belly bands to tie it all together, and the menus. Postage to send all this out was only .78 each.
