Vintage - Proud Mother Dachshund,

Vintage artwork by Adolf Eberle depicts a sweet scene with a woman sitting on a bench at home holding three Dachshund puppies in her lap. The mother Dachshund is on top of a table next to the woman watching her master holding her puppies. The woman holds one puppy under the front legs, with its hind feet on the table, and talks to the mother Dachshund as if to say, "Look at your beautiful baby!" The German artist, Adolf Eberle (1843-1914) was born in Munich. His father, Robert Eberle, was also a painter. Adolf’s most common and favorite subjects were family life scenes, including huntsmen and farmers, from Bavarian and Tyrolean peasant life. Many of these scenes also included pet animals. This card is blank inside for your own message.
