This lovely mandala design was created from a photo of an embroidered panel by William Morris at the height of the Art Nouveau period, c. 1892. Originally a single floral panel in shades of rich blue, ivory, and wine red, the floral motif is still evident in the flower buds, leaves, and vines around the edges of the star shaped design. *** Shown on iPhone 6 case. I have this and the other two I ordered (too lazy to rate all of them) on my phone. I am sending one of them to my best friend so am excited for her to receive it. One of the pics with my children and best friend didn’t center as well as I wished but I did get a warning that it wouldn’t. Still not sure why it didn’t but no big deal.
