Vintage Easter Cards
Easter in the twenty-first century can seem rather indulgent, with kids drowning in chocolate and the Easter bunny making numerous appearances in the post-Lent period. If you’re yearning for the simple Easters of old, where the emphasis was on tradition and spirituality, then you’re not alone; our Independent Creators feel the same way, and are in the mood for an old-fashioned, back-to-basics Easter. Shop vintage Easter cards on Zazzle today, because they’re filled with that good, old-timey charm you’re longing for!

We understand that parsing our extensive card collections can sometimes be trying rather than egg-citing. Fortunately, there are ways to alleviate your frustration; using the ‘Sort By’ button, for example, will allow you to organize our designs by popularity, cost or publication date. You can also isolate specific styles by using the filter buttons at the top of the page, such as ‘Design Color,’ ‘Number of Photos’ and ‘Delivery Date.’ Alternatively, you can chick out these top-ranking pages. Customize Your Own Vintage Easter Cards
If you enjoyed the Easter yolks we cracked above, but wanted to put your own personal touch on the pre-existing template, then it’s time you hatched a plan do so! On any vintage Easter card page – or indeed, on any card product page in general, there’ll be a large blue button that encourages you to ‘Personalize’ the design. Clicking on this will open our world-renowned design tool, where the widgets on both the left- and right-hand side of the tool will allow you to manipulate any of the elements the Independent Creator has added (or to insert completely new elements). To experience the full potential of our design interface, we’d also recommend experimenting with our blank custom Easter cards. There won’t be a foundational template on these pages, but that means there are no limitations or restrictions, either! Add the finished product to your Easter egg basket – um, that is to say, your Zazzle cart.
What to Write in an Easter Card
In order to maintain the innocent, vintage feel of these cards, we’d recommend writing a message that isn’t too edgy or modern. Remember the original meaning of Easter and its place within the Christian calendar, and add a greeting like "Easter Blessings," "Have a Joyful Easter" or "May Easter Peace Be Yours." Then, within the card itself, you can add a simple quote like "Wishing you a blessed Easter," "Wishing you the hope and beauty of springtime" or "May happiness be yours this Easter." Our Independent Creators are also talented wordsmiths, and so they’ve furnished every upload with placeholder greetings that you can edit, delete or borrow. That includes our vintage Easter stickers, vintage Easter invitations and Easter gifts, which have even more content for you to draw upon.
Finally, while you may want to focus on the spiritual aspects of Easter, remember that not everyone celebrates it in the same way, so you don’t necessarily need to make too many religious references (the quotes above are general enough to avoid this, we think).
