Vintage Vinegar Valentine - The Road Hog, Holiday Card
In the late 1880s to 1940s, Vinegar Valentines were a popular way to send a message to someone you didn't like or someone you wanted to prank. They had rude but funny messages about a type of person that was written as an insult. This card depicts a scene on the road where an attractive woman standing on the side of the road has lifted her skirt to show her thigh. Two men driving by snap their necks to get a good look and almost cause an accident. This verse on this card is: "Road Hog - If you keep viewing every sigh instead of keeping to your right, your next address, you Dirty Dog, will be an icebox in some morgue!!"

Good quality card, simple yet nice design, and it arrived quickly. I added a photo on the back of the card and the image printed is very clear. Next time, I‘ll try the semi-gloss finish. I am really happy with the finish of the card!
