Wadokei Japanese Watch Gold
This watch's face has been designed like the Edo Japanese clocks called Wadokei. Although these clocks didn't work the same way as their Western counterpart (the hours varied during the year according to the seasons) it has been adapted for a normal reading.
The outer kanji (or Japanese characters) are the twelve Japaneze Zodiac symbols and the inner ones are the kanji numerals from four to nine. During the Edo Jidai, the combination of them showed the current hour.

The personalization and the photo print on the face was perfect. However, I bought this as it was listed under women's...but, it came the same size as the men's watch that ordered. I called Zazzle. They were very understanding and more than willing to make me a happy customer...Explained that I should order a children's size, an then told me to keep this watch for no charge. And also since I bought the watches in a 50% off sale, they gave me a code to use for that same price for the watch I will buy to replace this one. The watch is very nice, the picture is great and the watch looks like quality. The only problem I am having with it is that it is a little too large, and I also can't figure out how to open the clasp. No directions came with it. Very good. The printing is perfect and the watch keeps good time.
