Waiting At The Bridge Postcard

Acrylic painting and poetry by author and fine artist, Maria P Urso. This piece was inspired by the loss of her beloved Boston Terrier who passed away in September 2012 at the young age of 5 years old. Maria and Tia were inseparable, training and competing in obedience trials, Tia excelled at obedience events attaining obedience titles quickly and with ease. Tia was the #2 Boston Terrier in her class in 2009 and the #1 Boston Terrier for her class in 2010 competing against all breeds of dogs in the United States. She is and will always be greatly missed and it is the hope that the "Waiting At The Bridge" poem will bring comfort to all those who have lost a dog or Boston Terrier, a dog who is more than a dog, more than a friend and companion, more than a pet.... that special one who is like no other whose life is wrapped around yours, whose love is unconditional, that special dog that is one of a kind.
