The bogon is an elemental particle which carries the property of bogosity, or being bogus (i.e., fake of bad). All humans are natural low-level bogons emitters. Emission levels fluctuate over time. Politicians, other individuals such as used car salesmen, are high level sources of bogons. When such individuals emit extremely high levels of bogons, as when making campaign promises, a bogon flux may occur. A bogon flux can be very dangerous to those in the area. Bogon was originally hacker jargon having to do with bogus addresses on a computer network.
