Water Lily Dance T-Shirt

Claude Monet is a titan of Impressionism. He is known for his depictions of garden scenes and, most of all, for his series of water lily paintings. These are late works, influenced by personal losses and the First World War. Contrary to Western styles, which situated the onlooker by using a horizon, the Water Lily Series has the public hover rather indiscriminately above the watery surface, suggesting the unknown depth below. His earlier works featured a Japanese bridge in his garden and his water lilies also echo a sort of Asian minimalism. This design tries to take up these traits and combine them into a late 19th century or early 20th century quotation.
