Watercolor kitchen barberry cloth dinner napkin

Creeping Barberry (Mahonia repens, also called Oregon Grape) grows wild in the White Mountains of Arizona. This original design was sketched from nature and hand-painted in watercolor. When I first started getting to know the plants around me, I also decided to "draw to learn" rather than "learn to draw". My goal is to capture the color, beauty, and personality of the native plants in the Mountain West. Artist: Karen Suedmeier

The quality and size of this cloth napkin rendered it perfect for display or placement on furniture, or just tossing on a table for conversation piece. The design was perfect directly under a crystal bowl, as the colors and theme was vivid and appealing. The printing was probably the best outcome I've seen so far from Zazzle. The details within the scene closely adhered to the original painting.
