We Deserve a Green New Deal Hockey Puck

A new era of environmental awareness has begun with the imminent threat of runaway global warming. Ignoring the problem is not making it go away. Rising sea levels and more violent storms are inevitable, leading to major global disruptions as a minimum and an existential challenge to mankind if nothing is done to curb the ever increasing levels of carbon dioxide greenhouse gas in our atmosphere. Are we going to continue fiddling as the Earth burns or take action? Today’s politics are unacceptable. We deserve a New Green Deal with an emphasis on renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
