WEVD t-shirt
WEVD was a New York radio station set up by the Socialist Party of America that began broadcasting in 1927. It was named for the party's leader Eugene Victor Debs, who had died in the previous year. In 1932 the station was sold to the Yiddish-language social democratic daily newspaper The Jewish Daily Forward. In the sixties and seventies the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research in New York City had a fortnightly programme in Yiddish on the station.
All profit from the sale of this t-shirt goes to WTRRP, a charity based in Watford, to the North of London, which provides practical and emotional support to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants.

Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
