Whistlejacket the Horse (by George Stubbs) Watch

This design features a painting by English artist George Stubbs (1724–1806). It shows the Marquess of Rockingham's racehorse, an Arabian thoroughbred. Stubbs's knowledge of equine physiology was unsurpassed by any painter, enabling him to produce such a lifelike image. The original canvas was completed circa 1762, and it is now housed in the National Gallery, London.
