This design is from my original painting of a White-breasted Nuthatch. The Nuthatch's habit of perching upside-down always makes me smile - it's a great reminder to keep a fresh perspective, and try to look at the world from a different angle. I kept catching myself grinning at this cute little guy while I was painting him, which made this piece a lot of fun to create!
