The American bison, (Bison bison), commonly known as a buffalo in the United States and Canada, is only found in North America. They are the largest mammal in North America and both males and females have horns. While usually appearing peaceful, their temperament is often unpredictable. The Teton Range is a mountain range of the Rocky Mountains in North America. It extends through the U.S. state of Wyoming with most of the east side of the range located within Grand Teton National Park.
