William Morris Brer Rabbit Design Ceramic Tile
William Morris (1834-1896) was a prolific English textile designer, artist, writer, illustrator, medievalist and socialist who believed good design should be available to everyone. Morris first printed this design in 1882, due to the popularity of the Brer Rabbit books. The design was taken from a 17th century Italian silk. Today, it is sometimes called "Brother Rabbit" and remains one of the most beloved of the Morris designs.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
