One of the few patterns William Morris designed specifically to be printed on cotton, this chintz pattern features a woodland scene of birds and marvelous rabbits who seem to be as full of character as that trickster Brer Rabbit himself. Morris ingeniously sparked the formal Renaissance forms of the Italian silk with the warmth, wit, and humor of the the Brer Rabbit, and in doing so created one of his most beloved and enduring designs. This has practical applications as well, making this pattern appropriate for formal dinners and casual dining.
