William Morris Cray Wallpaper Pattern Round Clock
The Cray design is one of William Morris's classic wallpapers from the 1800s. It is detailed in rich blues and reds. It was designed in 1884 and was one of the more popular wallpapers that hung in Victorian homes. William Morris was England's most famous nineteenth century textile designer. Morris' wallpapers showed his love of nature, which was the focus of all of his designs, and was a member of the arts and crafts movement. The clock works perfectly. I am so happy to have found this clock on Zazzle. I grew up in Fond du Lac, WI so this lighthouse has great meaning to me. I have searched for something like this for years and couldn't even find pictures in town like this. So thank you for the pleasant surprise. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. The reproduction of my art was excellent, the clocks are simple, easy to hang and are attractive. Just would like to order more at the discount I had! The printing was excellent. I couldn't ask for better. The colors were spot on to the image of my painting, "Never Alone".
My pic does not at all do the clock(s) justice. They're wonderful - or were. I sold all in my studio within 24 hours!
