The design on this product was inspired by "Persian" a decorative art pattern designed by the iconic English textile designer William Morris (1834 – 1896). Morris was a significant contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. Much of his work can be found in art galleries and museums and his designs are still in production. Although best known in his lifetime as a poet, Morris is recognized as one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian Britain.

It was quick delivery, sooner than expected. This lampshade is exactly as described and the perfect size for my lamp. I replaced the old bell shape lampshade with this barrel shape and it allows me to place my lamp closer to the wall. I love the soft colors of this lamp shade and the modern-southwest design. In the evening, the light is a cream color. I am very happy with this lampshade and highly recommend this product. (Pardon the quality of my photos for this review.)
