The image decorating this product was designed in the early 20th century by John Dearle (1859-1932) for Morris & Co. Dearle was a talented designer who started out as an apprentice under William Morris (1834-1896) and later rose to the position of chief textile designer at Morris & Co. Dearle continued working for Morris' firm long after his passing in 1896. Some of the firm's most beautiful woven textiles were created under Dearle's leadership.

Switch Plate is fantastic quality, thick, solid. Only complaint is that the screws tops are not white to match. I had to paint them myself. Printing is perfect, no complaints.
