The William Morris company produced The Honeysuckle pattern between 1915 and 1917 as wallpaper art, based on an earlier 1883 design. This honeysuckle pattern is a beautiful swirl of greens and old-fashioned faded reds, with soft green honeysuckle leaves and vines, and soft pink red honeysuckle flowers. I love the pattern, but it is much browner in person than the photo. Also after washing the back fabric shrinks more than the front fabric so the placemat is uneven. The printing is great except for the color which is much browner.
