The design on this product was inspired by Orchard, a William Morris floral wallpaper design. William Morris (1834-1896) was an iconic English textile designer who lived during the Victorian period. He was a significant contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. Much of his work can be found in art galleries and museums and his designs are still in production. Although best known in his lifetime as a poet, Morris is recognized as one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian Britain.
