Windmill Postcard
In southern Arizona, on the road from Nogales to Tucson, I ran across this old windmill near an abandoned farm. Set in a sepia color, the blades of the windmill form a circle at the top of the image, against a background of bare tree branches. The long "legs" of the supporting rods extend down to the lower edge of the picture, and into a rim of mountains. In the upper left corner of the image is the work, "Arizona" in black script. Enjoy the flavor of the Old West from this lonely spot. Copyright Gail Storrs 2007.
