Winter snow covered pines and mountains ceramic tile

This image is taken from my original watercolor painting of a winter panorama that presented itself early one morning many years ago.. I was on my way back to college after Christmas break before dawn one morning. As predawn gave way to dawn a beautiful sunrise begin to light up the landscape with with a soft pink glow. Fortunately there was space along side the road where I could safely park and take a large series of photos of the event. I have painted several versions of this lovely sunrise over the year and expect to do more. This is one of my very favorites and has won the most awards.
