Winter Solstice Card

I love this card! I just ordered it for the 3rd time. I celebrate the winter solstice, Yule, and return of the great horned one along with the light -- but I give cards to many who are unaware of these traditions. I've found this is the best card I can give them that expresses my values. I also give it to friends who celebrate hanukkah and those who *do* know about solstice. This card is appropriate anytime from Dec 15 to about Jan 5. The illustration is beautifully composed and the elements are fully integrated. Although the full moon is not part of solstice, I can ignore that. I do wish the inside was a non-white color because that would be even better! But don't hold that against it; there are few cards here that aren't white on the inside. BTW, this pairs nicely with a purple, blue, or gold envelope if you don't like a white envelope. P.S. I also bought the 18x24 poster of this card. The printing came out perfect in every way! The design is intricate, yet even in the smaller size you can appreciate and enjoy its detail. I think this card really benefits from the matte finish (not the gloss). The colors are as they look on my screen. Remember to zoom so you see the subtle shades of purple blue towards the bottom of the illustration.

The artwork on the front of the card is gorgeous. The artist's logo on the back was tasteful and not at all distracting or embarrassing. This was my first order of cards from Zazzle and I couldn't have been more impressed. I usually get generic Christmas cards from local stores but not anymore! Store bought cards have a tendency to be thin, these are very thick, high quality cards.

These holiday cards were outstanding. I adore the designs on these cards and plan to order more from The Simply Irresistible Girl. I was overjoyed with the holiday cards. The print was outstanding and exactly as the designer had intended. The colors were correct, and the design was perfectly aligned.
