Wisconsin Motor Milwaukee Wisconsin gas engine B-3 Watch

The Wisconsin Motor Manufacturing Company Milwaukee Wisconsin and West Allis Wisconsin traces it's roots to shortly after the turn of the last century. They were producing four and six cylinder gas combustible engines used primarily in large construction equipment for companies such as the Marion Shovel Company, Bucyrus Erie, and Northwest Engineering Company. Many of these early engines were seen on equipment used in the building of the Panama canal. Later they manufactured many sizes of automobile engines as the automobile industry exploded in the United States and manufacturers were desperate for combustible engines. This engine is the Wisconsin Model B- 3 Cylinder gasoline engine with a 5 1/2 inch Bore x 6 1/2 " Stroke 61 B.H.P. @ 850 R.P.M. It was used on Northwest Model 3. This item would compliment a collection of gas engines, hit and miss engines and specifically Wisconsin Gas Engines. The background is weathered a bit just the way we like it.
