Shadowland Foundation is a non-profit organization in Lake Hughes, CA whose mission is to save wolves - to "Educate not Eradicate".
Featuring Wahkahn (meaning Sacred) is our newest member to the pack. He is also a relative to Shadow and a black wolf just like her. The Apache say that the golden eyes of the wolf rise with the sun and teach us all day long. The black wolf is known as “the protector”.
Fun wolf facts: Wolves are nocturnal hunters which accounts for the golden color of their eyes. This special lens is like having night vision goggles. Wolves are born with blue eye and start to turn golden yellow at about seven weeks old.
All proceeds from purchases help care for the pack and our ongoing wolf education and outreach programs.
