Wombat (Vombatus ursinus)
Wombats grow to about 1.3 meters in length, and can weigh up to 36 kilograms.
Wombats are very strong. They are sometimes called the bulldozer of the bush. They live in burrows which are often built on the sides of gullies and can be up to 30 meters long, and several meters deep. Wombats generally stay in the burrows during the day coming out to feed as it night begins to fall. They mark out their feeding grounds by leaving scent trails and droppings around the boundaries. You can tell a wombats droppings because they are cubes, which is very distinctive.
