Worship Me - Cat Superiority Mug

Cats have already rightly earned adoration from humans. Now, they seek obedience from canines as well! The cat in this picture is a stylized image of one of our cats, Pekoe. We adopted Pekoe when he was a kitten, born of a feral mother who had her litter in the hedges in front of our home. As a tiny fuzzball about 6-8 weeks old, Pekoe dashed into our garage and found a forever home. Over the course of several days, we were able to rescue his four litter mates as well. Three were adopted into other homes and one of Pekoe's brothers, Razzmatazz, stayed with us. Pekoe is a cameo tabby and white cat with medium length fur. He's ot-nay oo-tay art-smay, but he is pretty, very sweet and affectionate. He loves food. Adores food. Lives for food. At dinner time he sits next to me and occasionally taps me on the arm or shoulder with his paw to remind me that he's there. If I don't acknowledge him, he will reach over to pat me gently on the face. When I finally look at him he gives me a little "Murrrr!" sound as if to say, "Don't forget I'm here and I'd be forever grateful for a tidbit!" Although this mug pokes gentle fun at the relationship between dogs and cats, our household of two rescue dogs and two rescue cats gets along well. Live, love, rescue!
