If you’d like to create a unique design from scratch, you’ll need to visit our custom outdoor signs page and select a blank template to get started. However, if you’d simply like to personalize one of the existing designs you see above, all you have to do is follow the instructions below.

• Step 1: Select a design you like and click on its thumbnail to be taken to the product page.
• Step 2: Once you're on the product page, select your desired size, shape and mounting options. These options will vary depending on the product you choose in the previous step.
• Step 3: Click on 'Personalize' and then add images and text elements in Zazzle's design tool – this is where you'll add your own personal touch to your product!
• Step 4: Click 'Done' and see your final design!

In the age of social media, people use old-fashioned signage much less than in the past. However, outdoor signs can still be a very effective way to promote your business. To make a real impact, a sign has to grab attention and get a message across very quickly. If you’re having a big sale then, choose signs with bold artwork and vibrant colors, and keep your pitch short.
