The slang Yeah, no. "Yeah" in this case is not meaning "Yes". Yeah is instead like saying "Hmmm." It's more of a sound that comes before the thought. "I've considered this point you're making and then the "no" part of the phrase is the actual answer." And it's also how to answer a question when the asker's or answerer's desired response is "yes" but the truthful response is "no." The harder it is to say the "no" part, the longer you stretch out the "yeah" part. Can be a harmless sarcastic response to a silly question or statement for emphasis.
