This product features a 1911 color print of Bootham Bar in York. Bootham is one of four of the medieval gateways to the city, and although the earliest parts of the archway date back to the 11th century, the rest is primarily from the 1300s. Unfortunately, the bar was damaged during the siege of York in 1644... It looks really pretty here though! York Minster can be seen in the background.
