Young Girls at the Piano by Pierre Renoir Gold Plated Necklace
Young Girls at the Piano (1892) by Renoir is a vintage impressionism fine art musical family portrait painting featuring two sisters. Renoir was commissioned to make these paintings for a new French museum in the early 1890's and created a series of five paintings of "Young Girls at the Piano" taking great care in their detail. The children musicians are playing music on the piano while studying their sheet music to learn this musical instrument.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist style. Renoir's paintings are notable for their vibrant light and saturated color, most often focusing on people in intimate and candid compositions.

I chose gold plated so that the metal would not react with my skin oils and perspiration. But, I changed the necklace from the gold plated one to a sterling silver. My skin cells will tarnish the silver. But it will not look as bad if some portion of the gold plated necklace somehow became compromised. Zazzle did a find job turning the picture into a pendant for me. As you can see, the colors and the printing of the final product, match the preview. The picture I took is not very clear. But I am pleased with the product I received.
