This can be a ring of strength for anyone. Heteronormativity really hurts some individuals who are made to feel as though they are less human just because their human experience is different. This ring can signify recovery from mental conditions, can replace a tattoo, or can be a statement of pride. If you consider yourself a regular romantic, please take the time to research aromanticism so that you can understand enough to educate the majority on our experiences because this issue has to be visible enough before the world becomes more inclusive. Seemingly "small" things such as this make people different than yourself see the world in a very unique way where every day they feel like an alien who doesn't belong on earth. Maybe if romantic relationships weren't so pressured and thrown upon us as essential (which harms us more than helps us, actually), we could live more peacefully together and the number of individuals suffering from mental conditions could be reduced.
