‘ZEN CARNIVAL’ draws inspiration from all corners of my mind and globe! Where do I begin? I have always wanted to create a carousel chow illustration. Recently when the only porcelain carousel chow that I made resurfaced in a private collection I decided to strike while the iron was hot!! The second inspiration was my fascination with the annual Nagoya horse racing festival in Tibet with its elaborately costumed horses and riders. It all started so innocently with the chow embellishments of tassels and beads. The theme quickly carried over into the pagoda canopy featuring a foo dog and temple bells! I didn’t stop there! The abstract Himilayas provide a beautiful backdrop to all the warm colors and the Tibetan prayer flags weave color through the scenery Finally, the Himalayan blue poppies bloom in celebration of such a Zen and festive day💙

The dainty interlinked rosette design at the waist is truly unique. The poly-spandex makes for a nice fit and available in sizes 0-16. The printing is vibrant and eye-catching.

A true fashion statement! I've been getting lots of compliments both in gym and outside. Can be dressed up with a pair of heels or worn at the gym as a truly unique sports garment. The material is high quality and conforms nicely to the body. For those who are looking at US sizes, I advise to consider the hip measurements or take one size up (I am a US 4 but the M fits perfectly). The printing is excellent! Turned out much better than I expected. The black is printed on a white base which is why it has a subtle whitish reflection at creases or on light. I wish the base was black but, of course, the white printing of the artwork would not have been possible.
