1950's Woolworth's Longest Lunch Counter Clock
In February of 1878 in Utica, NY, F. W. Woolworth started his "Woolworth's Great Five Cent Store", which eventually failed. He then opened another store in 1879 in Lancaster, PA., which was successful and to this day, set standards for retail businesses all over the world. In the 1950s, Woolworth's had the longest lunch counter in the world (located in Los Angeles), which was 100 feet in length. This legendary store that started it all, may be long out of business, but not forgotten. Great price for a very nice product. Arrived a day early - unheard of these days. The outside gold area has a little more orange tone to it than shown in the picture. Great packing so product can't get damaged. I used the same packing to forward the clock to my brother and sister-on-law for the 50th wedding anniversary. Printing was just as expected - lovely!

My 93- yr. old Dad has everything.....and now including a clock with pictures of him in action!
Was initially a bit difficult to size & position the pictures in each space, but the end product was worth the effort. He enjoyed it and it was definitely a unique way of memorializing good times in his life. Quality of print was good.
