antique easter egg placemat

My kitchen is totally retro, with canary yellow appliances from the 60's, and pale yellow Formica cabinetry. I prefer the look to the more common granite/stainless combination that so many people have in their upscale homes. To give the kitchen some "pop," I've added black accents, and wanted to continue the look into the adjoining dining room. I thought that custom placemats would help tie it all together and searched for a place which could do them. Fortunately I found Zazzle. I selected a picture I wanted which had the appropriate colors, and tied in with the nautical theme of the house (which is on Crystal River--"home of the manatees"--FL). On some of the placemats, I added the house name (Big Paws River House, in honor of our 130 pound long-haired German Shepherd). I was thrilled with the results, and the quality of the placemats. They were just what I had visualized, and wanted. The image quality/printing was excellent. I was concerned, because in the design phase the system warned me that the detail might not hold up well due to the small size/resolution of the original, so I ordered just one as a sample. It was great, and I ordered a bunch more, some with lettering for the center of the table and others without for the individual settings.

Valentine's Day is so RED and I needed to fix up this little cubby in the house a different color so I chose Lilac! The fabric and size are the perfect fit. My goal was to get away for the 'cutsie' look and go towards the 'elegant' look and this placemat made the area complete! I loved the print! The flowers look very realistic! I also loved the various shades of Lilac that brought the other flowers and candles sitting by it all together!

Adorable placemat made with heavy, good quality fabric and painted in a way that makes you feel Rudolph is right there with you! Exactly as pictured. Thanks Zazzle for helping create our Rudolph themed event and awesome job to the creator of this gem. Printing vibrant and crisp. I did not add anything to the placemat. Just ordered as pictured.
