Beautiful Lady Without Pity Mouse Pad
This design features a painting by the English Pre-Raphaelite artist John William Waterhouse (1849–1917). It shows an attractive woman in a Medieval woodland. There is a knight in armor kneeling down beside her. She is wrapping her long brown hair around his neck, bringing him closer to her as looks lovingly into his eyes. She is wearing a purple dress and she has bare feet. There are flowers strewn around her. The knight looks bewildered but entranced by the woman's beauty. The scene is based on a ballad by English poet John Keats called "La Belle Dame sans Merci" [The Beautiful Lady Without Mercy]. The poem is about a fairy who condemns a knight to an unpleasant fate after she seduces him with her beautiful eyes and singing. The original artwork was painted by John William Waterhouse in 1893.

It was time for a new mouse pad and being that I am at the computer so much, I wanted something pleasing to look at. I was completely floored when I received this one from Zazzle. The quality is great, and at such a great price! I paid a little over $15.00 - and with it being a custom photo??? - can't beat that! The photo of my pup was even better than the original that I took with my iphone - no special zoom camera. I wasn't sure if it would maintain quality when being blown up for the mouse pad size but WOW - the colors are vibrant, and it actually looks like my sweet pup is actually looking at me...... so so so so very happy with the result!
