camel pyramids pinback button
Camel in front of the Pyramids of Giza.
The Great Pyramid of Giza (also called the Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was built as a tomb for fourth dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops in Greek) and constructed over a 14 to 20-year period concluding around 2560 BC.

I like this button very much. One only has to look at it and know exactly which country it represents. It is very self- explanatory. The haziness of the pyramids in the background is good and helps the camel in the foreground to stand out. A very good contrast. I like the "shading" on this picture. The camel's blanket is quite strong i.e. the colours, and with the pyramids retreating into the haze in the background it is a very good contrast and makes for an unusual and interesting picture.
