CBC 1966 Logo Pattern Blanket
Created by Hubert Tison, who headed up Radio-Canada's animation department and went on to produce the Oscar-nominated documentary short The Mighty River (1994). The rainbow butterfly logo was unveiled with the introduction of color TV, and would be used for eight years with the accompanying voiceover, "This is a CBC color presentation." Used between 1966 - 1974.

We made this blanket for my parents 50th wedding anniversary rather than a birthday. We got eight of them one for each of my parents and a blanket for each sibling as a commemoration gift. I was worried the pictures would look blurry or pixelated but the quality was so great and the blanket is very soft. It's thinner but cozy. Really happy with this! .
